In an ideal world where robots and humans coexist, a string of murders alarms the world’s inhabitants, particularly the robot detective, Gesicht, who Europol assigned to clear the most complex murder case in history.
Something destroyed Mont Blanc, the beloved robot of the Swiss Forestry Service, which was discovered at the site of a wildfire, and his body was smashed and dismembered.
Elsewhere, Bernard Lanke, a key member in the movement to preserve the robot laws and the complete opposite of Mont Blanc, was murdered, but there’s no evidence of any other human presence at the crime scene.
Are these two murder cases related? They have one thing in common, in that both the victims’ bodies have been fashioned into some bizarre arrangement complete with makeshift horns placed above their heads.
Gesich starts his investigation only to discover that he too, as one of the most advanced robots science has ever produced, will be one of the murderer’s targets.
He sets out to warn other possible targets, such as Brando, Atom, Hercules, North No. 2, and Epsilon, who complete the seven great robots in the world.
The common denominator is that they have all the potential to become weapons of mass destruction.
This villain on the loose appears just like a huge tornado, creating speculation that it was only a natural disaster.
The media is even speculating that an electromagnetic anomaly in Mont Blanc caused him to blow up, but there’s no way a simple glitch could occur in such an advanced robot!
It is up to Gesicht to find out the truth. But the more he immerses himself in the investigation, the more he believes the murders were linked to the 39th Central Asian War between the United States of Thracia and the Persian Kingdom.
