Pixar's Monsters at Work Brings Back Original Monsters, Inc. Stars for New Disney+ Series

After a heart-stopping cameo in Kingdom Hearts 3 that made fans love Mike and Sulley even more, fans will be happy to know that these Monsters, Inc characters will be returning in a new show called Monsters at Work. This new series from Pixar will be coming to the Disney+ streaming service sometime in 2020 and will bring back the original actors from the first two movies.

That's right, John Goodman and Billy Crystal will be reprising their roles as James P. Sullivan and Mike Wizowski in the new series. Both actors were the main characters in both Monsters, Inc and Monsters University, though Square Enix wasn't able to bring them back for Kingdom Hearts 3.

Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the series will be set six months after the first movie, making this the true follow-up to the original. Monster's University was a prequel after all and Kingdom Hearts 3 will never be canon to the Disney films. While we're getting Sulley and Mike back, the lead character is someone completely new.

The series follows Tylor Tuskmon, played by Ben Feldman, an eager and talented mechanic on the Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team who dreams of working on the Laugh Floor alongside Mike and Sulley. Star Wars: The Last Jedi star Kelly Marie Tran will be playing Tylor's lifelong friend and confidante. They will also be joined by franchise newcomers Henry Winkler (Barry), Lucas Neff (Raising Hope), Alanna Ubach (Coco), Stephen Stanton (Star Wars Resistance) and Aisha Tyler (Archer).
