Netflix originally revealed the Onmyoji anime back in the Tudum event that happened in September 2022. It may have taken a while, but the anime finally got a new trailer recently.

This is Netflix’s latest anime that’s set in Japan from centuries ago. Fans may be reminded of Ooku: The Inner Chambers which was released back in June.

Unlike Ooku which is set in the Edo period, Onmyoji’s setting is the Heian period, which is older by hundreds of years.
