Here’s What Happened Before One Piece Chapter 1092
The title of One Piece Chapter 1091 is Sentomaru, and it picks up where the previous chapter left off as Kizaru begins his incursion on Egghead Island.
The marines follow Kizaru, but the Pacifistas under Sentomaru’s command are using their lasers to counter their attacks.
The marine ships fire their cannons, but the weaponized sea beasts suddenly emerge from under the water.
Doll, along with the other vice admirals, joins the fight to eliminate the pacifistas and stop the sea beasts from destroying their ships.
At the Labo-stratum, Usopp remarks that the marines and the robo-beasts are going at it at the coast of the island, much to Dr. Vegapunk’s surprise.
He thought that the squadron of Pacifistas under Sentomaru’s command could at least slow and hold the enemies from touching down on the island.
Nami, Usopp, and Brook spot Kizaru fighting Sentomaru from the monitor, which means Stussy’s intel was correct.
Dr. Vegapunk feels sorry for Sentomaru facing Kizaru, but he is ready to accept Sentomaru’s decision if he decides to flee from the battlefield.
At that moment, Kizaru and Sentomaru were fighting each other. Kizaru wants Sentomaru to surrender, but the latter is adamant about keeping his word with Luffy.
Sentomaru also owes Dr. Vegapunk his life, so he doesn’t care whose side he needs to take if it helps him escape.
That’s when Kizaru recalls his first encounter with the small yet terrible Sentomaru. He was with Dr. Vegapunk back then, and they decided to take Sentomaru in as Dr. Vegapunk’s bodyguard.
Kizaru began teaching Sentomaru the best that he could after the latter called him uncle.
Sentomaru attacks Kizaru with the Ashigara Palm, a move reminiscent of a sumo strike, but Kizaru is quick to guard and defend himself. Kizaru then fired a light beam, which left Sentomaru unconscious and out of commission.
What’s more, Kizaru also obtained the authority chip to order the squadron of Pacifistas.
He asks the pacifistas to protect the marine fleet and send the weaponized sea beasts to the ocean floor instead, turning the tables against Dr. Vegapunk and the Straw Hat Pirates.
St. Jaygarcia Saturn was then shown commenting about Sentomaru being a waste of assets, but he thinks that the Pacifistas are much better to secure.
He also asks Kizaru to keep him updated on all the casualties incurred by their attack.
Back in Labo-Stratum, Usopp remarks that Sentomaru has been finished. As a result, Dr. Vegapunk and Atlas plan to lift the lab’s defense system, but they still couldn’t crack York’s password.
Dr. Vegapunk shares that Kizaru is made of light, which means he could be passing through the laser barrier of the dome any minute now, much to Usopp’s fear.
Meanwhile, Lilith, who now pilots the Vegaforce 01, is carrying the Thousand Sunny, where Luffy, Frank, and Bonney are seen eating. Lilith remarks that all they need to do is carry the ship over to the back of the island as planned.
However, an emergency siren was then heard on the island as Kizaru finally infiltrated the Frontier Dome.
Kizaru feels nostalgic seeing the Straw Hats once again, but he needs to ensure that the power station, the punk records, and York can’t become collateral in their plan of attack, in addition to eliminating Dr. Vegapunk.
The sight of Kizaru in the dome caused panic inside the labo-stratum. Dr. Vegapunk also insists that it’s pointless to lift the barrier if the ship isn’t in position, knowing how Luffy and the others are still making their way back.
All of a sudden, Lucci charges toward Dr. Vegapunk, but Stussy positions herself in front so that she can protect Dr. Vegapunk instead. Quickly, Sanji borrows Nami’s bubble gun, while Zoro faces Lucci.
Lucci threatens Zoro, saying that all of them are good as dead now that he’s working with Kizaru.
Elsewhere, Kizaru sees Vegaforce 01, which makes him realize the reason why he didn’t see Thousand Sunny on the shore of the island.
Before the chapter ends, Luffy attacks Kizaru with a kick. Kizaru guards himself from Luffy, but the latter remarks that they are a hundred times stronger than they were two years ago.
