New Pokemon Let's Go! Trailer Showcases the Elite Four and a Surprise Character

Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu and Let's Go! Eevee are really close now, literally one week away from hitting gaming stores everywhere. Old-school players are feeling nostalgic over exploring a 3D version of Kanto, while others can't wait to get there hands on a "new" Pokemon game. The previous trailers have tempted players greatly but this one will have them shaking their head and going "wait, what?"

The latest trailer not only confirms the four other gym leaders players will be facing but it also features a quick look at the Elite Four and their updated 3D designs. As if that wasn't enough to hype up fans, Red and Blue once are in both games with players being given the option to take them on, likely after beating the main game.

Red and Blue appearing in a Pokemon game's post-content seems to be pretty typical these days but fans will be surprised to know that another classic character will be here as well; Leaf. That's right, the female trainer players can choose in either FireRed or LeafGreen can now be fought in the game. This is her first appearance since those Gameboy Advance games so Leaf's comeback is truly special.

Including Leaf in this game is a nice shout-out to those remakes and makes perfect sense since Let's Go is the third time the Kanto region is being explored. It'll be interesting to see who her Pokemon are and if she will be just as silent as Red, who kept up this demeanor in the newer games, including Sun and Moon.

Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu and Let's Go! Eevee are coming to the Switch on November 16.
