New Info on Lando's Look for Star Wars Episode IX

With Carrie Fisher gone, Star Wars Episode IX has opted to bring another legacy actor back in the form of Billy Dee Williams a.k.a. Lando Calrissian. We don't have any official images of Williams in character yet, but we may have some info on his look for the film.

As it turns out, Lando in his old age is still keeping to his signature look—he'll still be wearing a cape! This was confirmed by Making Star Wars who says that no other details for Lando's costume have been leaked other than he'll still be looking as stylish as ever.

In Solo: A Star Wars Story, the film actually pushed Lando's obsession with fashion and brought us into a closet full of capes. We only got to see him wear two different ones in the film, but it's funny to watch Lando panic as Qi'Ra attempts to put out a fire with one of his custom pieces.

Probably the only time we ever get to see Lando without a cape is when he's wearing Han's clothes in the end of Empire Strikes Back, but he was back in style when we saw him in Return of the Jedi. Hopefully with his (possibly last) appearance in the film, we get to see just how much Lando has changed from the old smoothie that we met in ESB.

We're not expecting a trailer drop for Star Wars Episode IX before the year ends, but it's possible that we could have some kind of BTS video—the same that have been released for the past films. Plus, I'm crossing my fingers we get an official title reveal.
