New Doctor Strange 2 Art Reveals Wanda Wasn’t Supposed To Be Evil

MCU fans have been highly anticipating that Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) would be getting her redemption arc one way or another. Or in this case, getting her happy ending in a different universe, in accordance to the best of her abilities. After the events of losing the Vision (Paul Bettany) she brought back to life in Westview along with her twin sons, Tommy and Billy, Wanda made it her mission to get them back in an alternate dimension, which led her pursuit for America in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. However, a new Doctor Strange 2 art reveals that Wanda wasn’t supposed to be evil in the film.

If you zoom in, you can clearly see the concerned look on Wanda’s face, on the lookout for any sign of danger, and is in no way attempting to trick the members, similar to how she looked at her twin sons in WandaVision. Which Wanda version would you have wanted to see more in the film?

A Doctor Strange 3 has not been yet confirmed, but given how Charlize Theron’s Clea’s appearance in the post-credits scene clearly sets up a sequel film with Doctor Strange. Meanwhile, Agatha: Coven of Chaos is expected to be released sometime in 2023 or 2024.
