New Clip from Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Reveals New Stage, the Dead Pool

NetherRealm had just dropped a new trailer for their campaign expansion Aftermath, and though the trailer already gave us a lot to look at for the DLC, we have a clip from the campaign that has Shang Tsung and his forces clash with Baraka and Erron Black.

Check it out:

While we've already got a look at Sheeva in the game, this is the first time we're seeing Raiden's brother Fujin. Just like Raiden, Fujin is also a god of the weather, but instead of thunder, he controls the wind.

It's also worth noting that this new map, the Dead Pool, is one from the classic arcade games. It will also mark the return of stage fatalities, and players can finish their opponents off by uppercutting them into the pool of acid (as you can see with the poor Tarkatan that gets pushed there).

Probably the biggest reveal for this expansion is the playable Robocop, but so far we don't know how he factors into the story. Then again, I don't expect it to matter mcuch; I mean, if the Terminator can join the clash in these films, then I'm pretty sure Robocop can be a player as well.

Mortal Kombat11: Aftermath expands the critically acclaimed story campaign with an all-new, cinematic narrative centered around trust and deceit, while also adding new playable characters, Fujin, Sheeva, and guys character, RoboCop, who is making his series debut.

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will cost $39.99 for players who already own the game. Players who want the whole package can pay $59.99 for everything.

The next update for Mortal Kombat 11 drops on May 26. MK 11 is now playable for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
