While there will be a few actors that'll return in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, the movie will also feature a whole new set of characters. Most of the parts they'll play are still kept a secret, including Castle star Nathan Fillion's role for the highly-anticipated film. The actor has been in some major franchises throughout his career, but here's why he joined The Suicide Squad.

"James Gunn [is] one of the people in my life that when he calls, I just pick up the phone and say ‘Yes to whatever you're about to say. It's yes, the answer's yes,'" Fillion told ET Canada. "James Gunn is an amazing storyteller, that guy understands story and he loves to tell story."

Fillion says when Gunn wants to do something, it's certain that it's going to be "fun" and that it'll surely be "satisfying." "So here he is with Suicide Squad 2, he asks me to come down," the actor continued. "What can I say about it? It's so secret, I get stressed when people talk about it."

The cast and crew have been tight-lipped about mostly everything about the movie. However, Fillion provided some insight as to what he'll be doing in the film. "Here's what I can tell you though, huge scope," he said. "I've never done anything so big."

Fans have been speculating that he'll play Arm-Fall-Off Boy in The Suicide Squad, but both him and Gunn have since debunked that rumor. That being said, he prefers fans to think that he'll play the said part because he wouldn't have to reveal anything bout the movie because it's supposed to be a "super-duper secret."
