While Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman belong to different universes, both female-led superhero movies were massive hits in the box office. There is a slim chance that both characters would get an on-screen team-up, but actors Gal Gadot and Brie Larson have crossed paths off-screen and treated fans of both Marvel and DC with epic photos.
Taking to Instagram, Gadot shared photos of herself and Larson backstage at the Oscars. The first photo shows the Captain Marvel star pretending to choke Gadot, whilst her earring was getting pulled by the Wonder Woman actor. Along with the images is a caption that says, "make love, not war." You can check them out below.
It's certainly nice to see the actresses all playful and is goofing off with each other, which ultimately sets aside the DC vs Marvel debate amongst fans. Gadot and Larson have always expressed their support for each other in a couple of interviews and posts. In fact, when the trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 came out, Larson shared the clip on her Twitter account and wrote about how June can't come fast enough.
As for a sequel for Captain Marvel, a second movie has reportedly been greenlit but there's no word about the movie as of late. The film is yet to have a director attached as well so fans will have to wait a little bit longer for some updates on this one.
