While the anniversary of the anime was technically last year, the celebration continues as Naruto will have a 20th Anniversary live concert, and before it happens, an awesome new visual was shown featuring the franchise’s most beloved characters.
This new visual doesn’t just feature the cast of Naruto in their typical attire though.
Instead, the visual shows characters from both Naruto and Boruto playing various instruments.
Though this concert is a particularly exciting event for fans, this is just the latest in the many treats that were given to Naruto fans to celebrate the anime’s 20th anniversary.
Naruto’s 20th Anniversary Celebration Continues With New Projects
The original Naruto anime began in October 2002, so technically, its anniversary was last year.
At the time, a selection of visuals from Masashi Kishimoto along with a special remake video from Pierrot were shared.
One of the highlights of the celebration though is the 20th anniversary fan poll.
There, fans from all over the world got to vote for their favorite character from both the Naruto and Boruto series.
In the end, it was Minato Namikaze that took the top spot. This was immortalized in a brand-new one-shot by Kishimoto which was released just this week to the delight of fans.
While the new Minato one-shot is already a great way to celebrate the anniversary, that’s not all in store for fans.
For instance, there will be another run of the Naruto The Gallery exhibit, this time in Okayama.
Plus, another exciting event to watch out for is the upcoming live concert that’s happening in just two months.

Naruto The Live 20th Anniversary Concert Gets New Visual
The upcoming Naruto The Live 20th anniversary concert will happen this September, and it was highlighted with a special visual that features all the fan-favorite Naruto and Boruto characters.
This visual is the perfect representation of what to expect as the concert will not only feature the score but will also have performances from selected theme performers.
For instance, the band KANA-BOON will be at the concert’s two days alongside CHiCO and Flow, whom Naruto fans are no doubt familiar with.
Meanwhile, Ikimonogakari and Hambleders will perform on Day 1, with Anly and ORANGE RANGE appearing on Day 2.
The upcoming Naruto concert will happen at Makuhari Messe in Chiba on September 2 and 3, 2023.
Sadly, there’s no word about the concert being toured outside of Japan.
