Jump Festa is always a huge event, but the latest one might have been the biggest one yet. That’s because fans were treated to the long-awaited Chainsaw Man movie reveal along with the unexpected One Piece anime remake.

Along with these two, Jump Festa 2024 also treated My Hero Academia fans with a special Hero Aca stage. There, attendees and online viewers got to see the anime’s main cast.

These include Daiki Yamashita (Deku), Ayane Sakura (Ochaco), and Nobuhiko Okamoto (Bakugo). On the stage, the cast members were present when details about the next season were shared.

As previously confirmed, the anime’s seventh season will premiere in Spring 2024. Instead of premiering in April though, the season will effectively begin in May as there will be four recap episodes to start the season.

Previous seasons had recaps to start, though these are usually just an episode. Given that there will be four recap episodes that will begin airing in April, the anime’s first proper new episode will be released on May 4, 2024.
