Today saw several release date and cast announcements for Fall 2023 anime, and among them is the new cast members' reveal for My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer.
Along with three new cast members, the show also revealed the performer of its opening and ending themes.
Though the highlight is no doubt the three new VAs that have joined the anime, especially as these three should be familiar to most anime fans.
My Daughter Left the Nest Anime Shares More of Its Stacked Cast
Previously, the main cast for My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer was revealed, and it features big-name anime VAs.
To start, the anime’s protagonist Angeline is voiced by Saori Hayami who is arguably one of today’s most prolific Japanese VAs.
She is the voice of characters like Yor Forger in Spy x Family and Shinobu Kocho in Demon Slayer.
Alongside Hayami is Junichi Suwabe as Belgrieve, Angeline’s adoptive father.
Suwabe is another popular VA who is known as Ryomen Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen, Eraserhead in My Hero Academia, and Leone Abbacchio in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Joining them are another set of popular VAs, including Marina Inoue as Helvetica Bordeaux. Inoue is best known for being the VA of Armin Arlert in Attack on Titan.
Next is Saku Mizuno as Sasha Bordeaux. Mizuno may be a newcomer, but she already has a popular role in Ryo Yamada from Bocchi the Rock!
Rounding out the new cast is Kana Ichinose as Seren Bordeaux. Ichinose is yet another big-name VA, with roles such as Suletta Mercury in Gundam: Witch from Mercury and Maki Shijo in Kaguya-sama: Love Is War.

My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer Confirms Release Date
As for the show’s theme song, the anime’s opening is titled -Sen- by Yoshino Nanjo (the voice of Eli Ayase in Love Live!).
Meanwhile, the ending is titled homeward journey and is sung by Nagi Yanagi (of OreGairu fame).
This anime’s story follows Belgrieve, an adventurer who retires after he loses his leg in one encounter.
Soon, he happens upon an abandoned baby in the forest whom he raises and names Angeline.
While Belgrieve’s adventuring dream is over, it lives on through Angeline who becomes an S-rank adventurer.
My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer will be released in October 2023.
For now, there’s no word yet on which platform it will be streamed in outside Japan.
