As viewers eagerly await the return of Season 2, Mushoku Tensei is giving fans a treat. It may have taken some time, but finally, the Mushoku Tensei manga spinoff starring Eris Boreas Greyrat has just been released globally.
Previously, this manga was serialized in Japan in 2022, though fans weren’t able to read it officially online. Finally, all the chapters of this spinoff are available now for fans outside of Japan.
For Mushoku Tensei fans who have stuck to just watching the anime, checking out this spinoff is highly recommended, especially as it expands on the popular isekai’s story.
Mushoku Tensei: More Than Just a Hit Isekai Anime
Lots of isekai anime are being released every season. In the past couple of years though, it’s fair to say that Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation has become one of the most popular titles in the genre.
Its popularity around the world is thanks to the anime adaptation by Studio Bind. The first season aired in 2021, and it became a big hit thanks to its unique take on the isekai genre.
Sure, the series still has its fair share of isekai tropes, but the fact that the protagonist, Rudeus, begins his new life in another world as an infant gives the series a unique twist.

Mushoku Tensei Eris Manga Spinoff: Where to Read
The spinoff is officially titled Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation ~Eris Sharpens Her Fangs~. As its title implies, this manga follows Eris Boreas Greyrat, one of the primary characters in Season 1.
After getting released in Japan in 2022, fans outside of Japan can now read this Mushoku Tensei Eris manga spinoff on Manga UP!, the manga platform of Square Enix.
Its story is set after the events of the first season. The spinoff follows Eris after she parts ways with Rudeus.
In this story, Eris makes her way to the Sword Sanctum so she can hone her skills as a swordsman following her defeat.
Even though it’s a short spinoff, the fact that it follows Eris’ journey should make it a great companion piece to the anime’s second season.
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 will return in April 2024 on Crunchyroll.
