Ms. Marvel Will Bring Back Spider-Man: No Way Home Actor

We're now just a few weeks away before Ms. Marvel premieres on Disney+ which will mark Kamala Khan's debut in the MCU as she becomes the first Muslim superhero in the franchise. As usual, most of the plot details are still under wraps. However, it looks like a familiar face from a recent MCU film will apparently show up in the upcoming series.

According to the show's official fact sheet page, Arian Moayed, who played Department of Damage Control Agent Cleary in Spider-Man: No Way Home, is part of the cast of Ms. Marvel. However, there is no indication if the actor will reprise the role or play a new character instead.

Moayed is part of the series' large ensemble that includes Iman Vellani, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Fawad Khan, Laurel Marsden, Adaku Ononogbo, Alysia Reiner, Azhar Usman, Laith Nakli, Nimra Bucha, Travina Springer, and Aramis Knight.

It is interesting to learn that Moayed is going to be part of the series. Since both No Way Home and Ms. Marvel are part of the MCU canon, we can pretty much assume that he will reprise the same role in the series given that his character could seemingly get involved in whatever business that Ms. Marvel is involved in due to the nature of his job. In addition, No Way Home was set in New York while Ms. Marvel is going to be set in New Jersey which is just next to each other.

It would be curious to see what Moayed's Agent Cleary will do in the upcoming series assuming that he will be playing the same role. If it does, it is yet again another proof that the upcoming series is indeed part of the larger MCU.

The series "introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero megafan with an oversized imagination—particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home—that is, until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with superpowers, right?"
