Last year, Ms. Marvel made its highly-anticipated debut on Disney+. Kamala Khan's introduction to the MCU was met with positive responses from both critics and the audience. Fans are now looking forward to seeing more of her in the future.

Fortunately, we're now just a few months away from Kamala Khan's next MCU appearance which will be in the upcoming film The Marvels alongside her idol Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau.

However, before we get to witness Kamala's jump to the big screen, it looks like we will be able to relieve her series once again and, this time around, it will be on a broadcast network.

TVLine has confirmed that Ms. Marvel will make its historic broadcast debut on ABC across two Saturdays this August. It will be the first MCU TV series that will air on a linear TV network.

This won't be the first time that a Disney+ show airs on ABC (which is also owned by Disney) as episodes of The Mandalorian and Andor have previously aired on the network.

However, unlike the aforementioned Star Wars shows which only broadcasted their respective first episodes, the entirety of Ms. Marvel will be airing on the network.

The first three episodes of the series will air on August 5 while the last three will air in the following week on August 12. They will broadcast at the network's primetime slot from 8:00 to 11:00 pm ET.

The MCU show's airing on ABC also comes as the ongoing writers and actors strike have shut down all major Hollywood productions across scripted film and TV and it is likely that this decision happened as they need a program to fill in their schedule.

A.C. Bradley, who co-wrote three episodes of the series, tweeted her concerns regarding whether they will be able to receive residuals from its airing on ABC. She revealed that she was only paid a weekly rate and was never paid for the actual script fees.

It won't be surprising at this point if more Disney+ shows will air on the network depending on how long the strike will last as the network will be in need of content to broadcast aside from unscripted programming.
