Mortal Kombat 11: Ronda Rousey Cosplays as Sonya Blade During WWE Event

Fans thought it was really fitting when Ronda Rousey was announced as the voice actress of Sonya Blade for Mortal Kombat 11. Sonya has always been one of the toughest fighters in the series and Rousey is a legitimate fighter who only has a few losses in UFC, so it's a perfect match. Ronda decided to show the character she voices some love by dressing up as Sonya during her WWE Women's Championship match in Elimination Chamber.

Rousey took on Ruby Riott of the Riott Squad and made quick work of the Raw standout like we all knew she would. She soon had a stare down with her opponent Charlotte Flair, before Woman's Royal Rumble winner Becky Lynch defied her 60-day suspension and made her way to the ring. Things didn't end too well for Rousey though as "The Man" Becky Lynch destroyed Ronda and Charlotte.

At least Ronda didn't look like a Mortal Kombat character after receiving a fatality, though she did have a bloody gash on the side of her head after the beatdown. The Baddest Woman in The Planet can still take pride in the fact that the Raw Women's Championship is still in her possession but can she retain her title during WrestleMania?

WWE fans are expecting a Triple Threat Match between Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair, though some of us would have preferred a straight up singles match between Lynch and Rousey. Still, if this means Lynch can win the belt without Rousey getting pinned or submitted, then this will be a wise choice.

Mortal Kombat 11 comes out on April 23 for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
