Mortal Kombat 11 Reveals Hilarious Frienships Trailer

A lot of new things are coming with the Aftermath DLC for Mortal Kombat 11; besides new characters, we're also going to get the return of "Friendships" in the game in lieu of Fatalities. We've had teasers for a handful of characters when it was first announced, but now we have a look at the Friendships for everyone else, including DLC characters.

In the spirit of the first Friendships, these moves basically end with the characters doing silly things rather than tearing their opponent apart. While some seem tame like Kano putting up a grill or Kung Lao playing with a train set, I'll admit others go the other mile, especially Jax with his saxophone meme parody.

The great thing about Friendships is that they will also come free for players. Though the Aftermath expansion comes with three new characters and a campaign, everyone else will still get their hands on Friendships, new stages, plus Stage Fatalities.

For now, the expansions are coming out steady for Mortal Kombat 11. Aftermath had just been announced after the final DLC character, Spawn, came to the game, and I assume after a few months, we're going to get the announcement for Kombat Pack 2 with a new roster of incoming characters.

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will run for $39.99 as an expansion, but if you want the complete package, it will set you back $59.99. The expansion is set to come out on May 26.

In the meantime, Mortal Kombat 11 is available for Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
