Blue Eye Samurai made headlines due to its gripping story, well-written characters, and incredible animation. It stars Mizu, a mixed-race sword master who wants to get revenge on four white men; one of them is her father, who made her life miserable. She is on a path of revenge, but who does Mizu end up with in Blue Eye Samurai?

Who Is Mizu’s Love Interest in Blue Eye Samurai?
At a glance, it looks like Mizu’s love life will not be explored in Blue Eye Samurai due to how focused the story is on her quest for revenge.
The animated series is not the type of show where we can see the main protagonist having a happy ending with another character.
There are a lot of male characters in the animated series, but Mizu only has significant connections with some of them.
The first one is Mizu’s sword father, who took her in without judgment even after revealing her true self to him.
The sword father (sword maker), also known as Master Eiji, treats her as an apprentice without expecting anything in return.
The second one is Mizu’s apprentice, Ringo, who looks up to her ways the most, except for that one time when she allows Princess Akemi to be taken away.
On the other hand, Ringo moves stealthily, often catching Mizu by surprise, but his existence in Mizu’s life proves to be a fruitful and helpful one. They have a peculiar companionship, but they do care about each other.
The third one is Taigen, whom she defeated in the Shindo Dojo. She shares a history with Taigen, but over time, everything changed between the two of them.
Another one is with Chiaki of the Four Fangs, whom Mizu defeated and killed.
Of course, Mizu is also connected with Abijah Fowler, one of the four white men who plan to open Japanese borders to the outside world for the illegal trade of opium, drugs, and more.

Do Mizu and Taigen End Up Together?
Mizu has yet to end up with Taigen in Blue Eye Samurai by the end of the first season. They have obvious romantic tension and chemistry, but Taigen is still devastated after Princess Akemi turned him down.
Taigen was once the leader of Mizu’s bullies when they were still young. While Taigen thinks nothing of it as he grows up, Mizu remembers it as clear as day.
When their fated reunion happened, Mizu stripped Taigen’s pride and honor after she defeated him in the Shindo Dojo.
Taigen was impressed with Mizu’s flawless swordsmanship, but he was also reminded of the dirty dog he antagonized in the past.
Taigen followed Mizu’s footsteps to retrieve his pride and honor as a samurai. He even went so far as to create a fighting contract between them!
Over time, Taigen and Mizu’s relationship improves to the extent that Taigen gets turned on by his physical interactions with Mizu.
Too bad, Taigen’s heart is still with Princess Akemi. Besides, Taigen is still not aware of Mizu’s true gender, so we will leave their story for now.
In the second season of Blue Eye Samurai, we are expecting that Taigen and Mizu’s relationship will flourish!

Who Does Mizu End Up With in Blue Eye Samurai?
Mizu has yet to end up with anyone in Blue Eye Samurai. Among the characters in the series, Mizu will most likely end up with Taigen, unless there’s another character who will sweep her off her feet and steal her heart.
We are also rooting for Ringo, although it’s unlikely he will end up with Mizu in the animated series.
