Set in 17th-century Edo Japan, at a time when the country’s borders are closed to the outside world except for those foreigners who engage in the illegal trade of opium, guns, or even flesh, Mizu is on a path of revenge against four white men who made her a creature of shame.

The road ahead is difficult and perilous, but Mizu will not give up in the face of adversity to redeem her honor as a woman, even if she needs to disguise herself as a man and hide her beautiful and striking blue eyes.

Mizu studied under the swordmaker, who took her in as an apprentice. She then became the master of the sword in no time, inheriting the skills of the swordmaker, also known as Master Eiji.

The finale of Season 1 saw Mizu sailing into the seas heading for London, where her two remaining potential fathers are.

There, we expect to see another interesting part of Mizu's journey, as she encounters the Western culture and becomes immersed in it.
