Michael B. Jordan Wouldn't Mind Returning For Black Panther 2

There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding Wakanda's future in the MCU after the events of Infinity War, which may have permanently killed T'Challa if you're drinking the kool-aid The Russos are giving out. Black Panther was a great film, with many calling it the greatest movie from the MCU yet thanks to strong world building and a great villain in Michael B. Jordan's Killmonger, so there is a high chance for a sequel.

Interestingly enough, Jordan revealed that he would be down for a comeback as Killmonger in a potential Black Panther 2.

Speaking with MTV, Jordan said that he is open to working with director Ryan Coogler on the MCU again. Considering how the two have been working together in Creed and the upcoming Creed 2, it's not hard to see why.

"I mean, I'm a fan, as you said, of Marvel, of comic books, everybody knows that. So I mean if there was ever an opportunity for me to come back and like join this universe and work with like Joe Russo, Kevin Feige, Victoria [Alonso], and everyone over there at Marvel, re-team with Ryan [Coogler] you know, of course I would."

Of course, one reason why this would be an odd move is that the villain dies at the end of the movie. T'Challa does offer to bring him to the healers but Killmonger chooses to die than live as a prisoner. Marvel could retcon this and say that T'Challa didn't listen to Erik, choosing to heal the villain instead.

We will have to wait and see, assuming there is a Black Panther 2 coming out soon. Avengers 4, which may or may not feature T'Challa's return, comes out on May 3, 2019.
