Metallic Rouge Episode 6 Is a Mystery-Of-The-Week before Turning into Something Else
In Metallic Rouge episode 6, two mysteries keep fans on the edge of their seat. The main one is Hell Giallo, a member of the Immortal Nine, who is on the same cruise ship as our two heroines.
It doesn't take long for Giallo to murder a crew member and disguise himself as them.
Soon, he goes on a murder spree in different disguises, killing guests to the point that it's hard to know who to trust.
At a second level, Gene's superior, Chief Chau, warns him that a mole from the enforcement agency Ochrona is on the ship.
With Giallo wreaking havoc, one might forget this secondary mystery, but its answer comes back to haunt us at the end of Metallic Rouge episode 6 through a devastating betrayal.
What Happens to Rouge? Metallic Rouge Episode 6 Ending Theories Explored
Metallic Rouge episode 6 ends with Rouge fighting Giallo on the ship's exterior in her Crimson Gladiator form.
She finds out that Giallo was responsible for the death of her father, Roy Junghardt, before knocking him off the ship and into space.
However, her identity as the infamous red Nean people have been on the lookout for is revealed.
To Rouge's shock, Naomi reveals that she is the Ochrona agent and puts Rouge under arrest for violating the “Use of Artificial Life Code.”
Since Metallic Rouge is an original anime, we can only speculate about Rouge's fate after episode 6, though fans have plenty of theories.
The consensus seems to be that Naomi wouldn't betray her friend like this.
Most fans believe that Naomi has simply realized the danger Rouge is in now that her identity has been revealed.
Rather than leave Rouge to her fate, Naomi has likely decided to take charge of the situation in an unorthodox way. After all, she has broken the rules before.
Alternatively, it is possible that Naomi has been working for Ochrona all along since the soldiers followed her lead.
If this were the case, it would make Metallic Rouge an entirely different anime that is much more complex and infinitely darker.
Even if this is true, we don't think that Naomi would abandon Rouge. We can only hope that episode 7 will reveal that she has a plan.
