Besides introducing us to a new iteration of Mystery Inc., Scoob! is also going to be giving us new takes on classic Hanna-Barbera characters. The main villain for the film is going to be Wacky Races' Dick Dastardly, and we have a new clip of him coming face to face with Scooby-Doo.

Just in case you didn't know, Dastardly in the film is going to be voiced by Jason Isaacs. Isaacs had recently provided his voice as the soviet Superman in WB's animated Superman: Red Son, but movie audiences will probably know him best as Lucius Malfoy from the Harry Potter films.
While Dick doesn't look to close to his cartoon counterpart, I'm sure he'll start to look more familiar once he gets his stripey hat and goggles. I guess the transformation is going to be a kind of slow burn, just like Jim Carrey's Dr. Robotnik in the Sonic the Hedgehog film.
With Scoob! originally set to come out in May, it's possible that the film could be delayed, just like with all the other cancellations for March and April. While no announcement has been made, Sony is probably keeping a close eye on the news. No doubt, money has been lost with all these shut downs, and I'm sure the studios are waiting when things can go back to their regular groove.
With hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever -- a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global dog-pocalypse, the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone could have imagined.
Scoob! is still set to hit theaters May 13.
