New Scoob! Poster Gives A Look at Blue Falcon and Dynomutt

Scooby-Doo is ready to come back to cinemas with an animated movie Scoob!, and we just have a new poster teasing other Hanna-Barbera characters in the film—the Blue Falcon and Dynomutt.

I also missed her for a second, but the girl in the Captain Marvel-esque outfit is supposed to be Dee Dee—a character associated with Captain Caveman, another HB character in the film.

I have to say, the redesign for this film is pretty impressive. While the Mystery Inc. gang pretty much looks like themselves, Blue Falcon looks like a mix between Captain America and Batman. It's also interesting that Dynomutt should look so serious. If anything, Dyno is supposed to be comic relief, and his show was even named after him. I guess they have to make him distinct from Scooby because the show can't have two funny dogs. I guess Dyno will have to be the straight man, but we'll just have to wait and see.

The first full-length animated Scooby-Doo adventure for the big screen is the never-before-told stories of Scooby-Doo's origins and the greatest mystery in the career of Mystery Inc.

"SCOOB!" reveals how lifelong friends Scooby and Shaggy first met and how they joined with young detectives Fred, Velma, and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc. Now, with hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global "dogpocalypse," the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.

Scoob! hits theaters May 15.
