Matt Murdock Brings Back His Daredevil Costume This May

Chip Zdarsky's Daredevil run has been one of the more acclaimed comics in recent memory, giving us an interesting side of the character who is struggling with his superhero identity. At the start of this run, Matt Murdock decided to give up the costume for a bit, though that didn't stop him from fighting crime. For a while, he ended up in his simpler costume that fans of the Netflix series will recognize from Daredevil Season One but it looks like that's about to end this May.

May's Daredevil #21 will have Matt Murdock return to his iconic red costume for a new arc called Truth/Dare. Apparently, Hell's Kitchen needs his help like never before, which results in Murdock becoming Daredevil again. It's kind of funny how the comic book was still called Daredevil despite the character denouncing that name but we also have a Nightwing comic that has Dick Grayson not using that name.

Fans will also be happy to know that artist Marco Chechetto will be returning to the title. He was the artist for the first arc and continues to stand out whenever his art is used so this is going to be huge with Daredevil fans. Hopefully, the return to this costume continues the quality of this run since the comic book continues to be an acclaimed title with fans and critics alike.

Daredevil #21 will be coming out this May.
