She is well-liked at school because of her attractive looks and good social standing.
In fact, even after the gorgeous Neko Fujinomiya transferred, Aki is still regarded as the school's beauty.
Everyone adores her (save those she has already rejected), especially the girls, who regard Aki as the ideal girl.
They admire her calm demeanor when it comes to dealing with boys and anticipate how she would reject them in public.
For instance, a charming student named Shigeo publicly confessed to Aki. However, with the support of Yoshino Kowai, Aki turned it into a public spectacle.
Not only did Aki reject Shigeo's affections, but she also produced a banner for everyone to see Shigeo's new nickname.

Aki's parents used to fight for her all the time, bringing her expensive presents to win her sympathy and love.
It damaged Aki's mental health, especially after her childhood friend Masamune Makabe left her.
After all, Aki's encounter with Masamune Makabe helped her forget about her worries because they found solace in each other.
From this point forward, Aki became distant from men. She would frequently hang out with Kowai and her fan club at school, making fun of naive boys who wanted to take her out on a date.
