Marvel's Eternals Gets Set Photos Showing Off an Ancient City

While everyone is still raving about Spider-Man staying in the MCU, Marvel Studios is hard at work at several other projects, one of them being the Eternals movie coming out next year. While we don't have any official promo material out online yet, some set photos have been taken on location in Fuerteventura.

You can check them out here.

We don't really know what the set is for yet, but some speculate that it could be for an ancient Babylonian society. While Captain America: The First Avenger is the earliest movie in the MCU timeline, Eternals promises to go way back, a thousand years into the past, to show us the beginnings of the Marvel Universe we know and love.

With the movie set to come out late next year, we should expect our first teasers for the film to drop sometime in May—around the release of Black Widow. Admittedly, Eternals is one of the more obscure properties for Marvel Studios, but if they could make Guardians of the Galaxy a box office hit, then maybe they could do the same with this property.

Let's just hope director Chloe Zhao is up to the task.

Eternals stars Richard Madden, Kit Harington, Angelina Jolie, and Salma Hayek. The supporting cast also includes Kumail Nanjiani, Ma Dong-Seok, Bryan Tyree Henry, Gemma Chan, and Barry Keoghan.

The movie set to hit theaters Nov. 6, 2020.
