Marvel's Eternals movie looks to be one of the more star-studded movies coming out for phase 4, with Angelina Jolie and Kit Harrington, among others, confirmed for the cast. Harrington will be Black Knight, a fairly underrated character who has also been an Avenger, and it looks like we're gonna see a flashback sequence with the character.
Thanks to a bts photo from Reddit, we now know that there will be a scene that takes place during medieval times. While we don't see Black Knight himself, the setting doesn't really suit any other character in The Eternals. Sure, these characters are eternal (haha), but why would we see superpowered beings in medieval times?
Admittedly, why are we going to see a character from medieval times team up with cosmic-powered characters? Either way, it's going to be interesting to see how these characters interact and what kind of threats they are going to face.
We still don't know a lot about Marvel's Eternals, but it is a big deal for Marvel Studios. These are some of the most obscure Marvel characters around but that shouldn't be an issue since Guardians of the Galaxy also had some pretty obscure heroes and now they're household names, which is awesome.
Is Eternals going to be another Guardians of the Galaxy-style success? We'll have to wait and see but it's an ambitious project so here's hoping that we get a quality film.
Eternals comes out on November 6, 2020.
