Marvel TV Head Writes A Letter To Fans After Netflix Cancels Its Entire Remaining Roster

It's a pretty rough week for Marvel fans all around the globe. A month after the release of its second season, The Punisher was canceled along with Jessica Jones, closing off Netflix's time with Marvel TV.

Now, Marvel Television president Jeph Loeb reaches out to the fanbase, posting a message reflecting the era that Marvel TV and Netflix shared together in a letter posted on Marvel.com.

In the letter, Loeb talks about achieving the impossible, saying that it had never been done before bringing four different heroes together in the heart of New York City after introducing them all in their own separate series.

"Marvel assembled amazing teams to write, produce, direct, edit, and score 13 seasons and 161 one-hour episodes," Loeb wrote in his post. "Take a moment and go online and look at the dazzling list of actors, writers, directors, and musicians who graced us with the very best of their craft. We loved each and every minute of it. And we did it all for you -- the fans -- who cheered for us around the world and made all the hard work worth it. So, Thank You!"

Despite the heartache, Loeb ends the letter with a hopeful note, reminding everyone that this isn't the end for Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Iron Fist (Finn Jones) and the Punisher (Jon Bernthal). Though it's going to take some time, each of these heroes' series can still find their way to Hulu and to Disney+ once Netflix's two-year contract is over.

Not only that, but Marvel TV has new projects to keep the fanbase busy while they wait, and while the specifics haven't been revealed yet, we can't wait to learn more about what the network has planned for everyone.

The Punisher season 2 is available for streaming on Netflix.
