Marvel Reportedly Planning Daredevil Reboot with Original Netflix Cast

It's no secret that fans have been hoping that Daredevil will be brought back despite its cancellation back in 2018. In fact, there is a whole social media movement behind the hashtag #SaveDaredevil. So is it possible that Marvel Studios has finally listened to fans? A new report suggests that the studio is currently planning a Daredevil reboot that will bring back the original cast.

We have all heard about the possibility of Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home, something that the Defenders star has repeatedly denied. However, it looks like Cox might actually be returning in a different Marvel Cinematic Universe project.

It was previously reported that Cox is set to play a supporting role in the Hawkeye spin-off series Echo, which might bring back Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk as well. The show is expected to introduce Daredevil and Kingpin into the MCU and lead to another project which will somehow serve as a reboot of the Netflix series.

It's an exciting idea considering that everyone has been hoping for Daredevil to get another season. However, it is important to point out that the news has not yet been confirmed by Marvel Studios. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Echo will focus on Maya Lopez, who will be introduced in Hawkeye this November. The spin-off series has not yet been given an official release date. However, it is already expected to premiere on Disney+ in 2022.
