Daredevil Reportedly Joining Hawkeye Spin-Off Series Echo

We've been hearing a lot about Matt Murdock showing up in Spider-Man: No Way Home, something that Charlie Cox has repeatedly denied in the past. But has Cox been denying those rumors because he's actually going to appear in another Marvel Cinematic Universe project? There are speculations that Daredevil will actually play a supporting role in the Hawkeye spin-off series Echo!

Fans have been hoping for Daredevil's return for a long, long time. After all, people were disappointed when the Netflix series was cancelled by Marvel in late 2018. Still, there is hope for Cox to reprise his role in an MCU project.

A new report from Daniel Richtman reveals that the Devil of Hell's Kitchen will appear in Echo, the spin-off show focusing on Hawkeye character Maya Lopez. It also reveals that Cox is set to play a supporting role and could appear in several episodes.

Daredevil's appearance in Echo wouldn't be a huge surprise considering that there have been reports that Wilson Fisk is also going to play a major role in the series. Since both characters are strongly connected to Maya in the comic books, there's a good chance they will show up in the spin-off. However, it's important to point out that the casting has not yet been confirmed so it would be best to take this with a grain of salt.

Echo will star Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, who will first appear in Hawkeye, which is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on November 24, 2021.
