Marvel Entertainment Chair Ike Perlmutter Reportedly Misused His Position in the VA

It looks like Marvel Entertainment Chairman Ike Perlmutter has been accused of using his position in a questionable.

Perlmutter has been playing an informal role advising the Department of Veterans' Affairs during Donal trump's tenure as the President of the United States of America. According to a report the non-partisan Government Accountability Office (via Den of Geek), Perlmutter has been using the agency to promote Marvel Comics – a report counter to what the Marvel Entertainment chairperson claimed when he said that he never really personally benefited from his role with the Department of Veteran's Affairs.

Perlmutter reportedly stepped in to put characters like Captain America front and center while VA officials rang the closing bell of the New York Stock exchange. Many were surprised by Captain America's presence.

Besides his reportedly unethical use of his position in the VA, Perlmutter has also been accused of inserting himself in the agency's decision-making process for a range of issues including the promotion of Marvel Entertainment, the $10 billion contract for medical records overhaul, partnership with Apple on an app, and so many others.

Because of this report, netizens have begun to question about Perlmutter's relationship with Trump, especially in the wake of the Black Lives Movement protest. Last week the President ordered the police to gas and beat peaceful protestors so a path could be cleared for a photo in front of a church that did not want him in the area.

Perlmutter's relationship with Trump could ruin Marvel's supposed support for the Black Lives movement.
