March is down to its last few days, and with April comes the release of Avengers: Endgame. While it's likely that Marvel Studios won't be releasing a third trailer for the film, we do have this new featurette for the movie with all the principal actors talking about where the story kicks off.
What's interesting is how Chris Evans seemingly teases how the Avengers will get back on their feet after their loss. To quote Evans, "The good thing is it's always easier to build people back up after they've been broken down, and that's what Marvel's great at doing. It's that shred of hope that everyone's looking for."
Though it hasn't been fully confirmed by the trailers, it looks like the movie will feature a big time jump—allowing the heroes to wallow in their loss for a while. The biggest clue we have so far is the different hairstyles that Black Widow has in the trailer. It looks like we'll start out with her blonde, short hair, then a few years will jump where she gets her long red locks again.
Personally, I'm happy we get to see how the world will thrive one after the incident with Thanos. If the heroes had won only a few weeks after the snap, then we don't really get that sense of sacrifice and consequence that the MCU films have admittedly been lacking. Hopefully, the Russo Brothers find a satisfying way to end this 10-year-arc.
