Who is Marry My Husband's Oh Yu-ra?
As mentioned, Oh Yu-ra is a villain in the show. She comes at a time when Yoo Ji-hyuk (played by Na In-woo) and Kang Ji-won (played by Park Min-young) have already confessed their feelings to each other.
Coming from the wedding of Park Min-Hwan (played by Lee Yi-kyung) and Jung Su min (played by Song Ha-yoon), the two hold hands as they enter their apartment complex. The happiness, however, is short-lived as Oh Yu-Ra (played by BoA) greets them by the stairs.
Yu-ra introduces herself as Ji-hyuk's fiancée, which she later cleared as the ex-fiancée since Ji-hyuk broke off their engagement. She revealed that she did not know that the reason behind Ji-hyuk's decision was another woman.
Although we don't know yet how she plans to put a wedge between the relationship of Ji-won and Ji-hyuk, we can already assume that she won't make things easy for the two.
In the novel, it was described that Yu-ra grew up with Ji-hyuk and his little sister, Yoo Hee-yeon (played by Choi Gyu-ri), whom she bullied. Through the next few years, she grew attracted to Ji-hyuk and was made to believe that their mothers had arranged their marriage.
But unfortunately for Yu-ra, Ji-hyuk never had the same feelings toward her. So when he finally got a chance to chase after the person who truly made him happy, he took the chance and broke up with Yu-ra.
Who Plays Oh Yu-ra in Marry My Husband?
BoA, born Kwon Bo-ah, is a Korean singer, dancer, and actress. She has been popularly called as the Queen of K-Pop.
She was discovered in 1998 when she accompanied her brother on a talent search. After that, she trained for a couple of years before making her debut in August 2000.
As a K-Pop artist, BoA has had a pretty impressive career, with 20 studio albums under her belt.
BoA was also involved in a reality competition show called K-Pop Star as a judge. Apart from that, she was also a coach for The Voice of Korea in 2020.
As an actress, BoA made waves in the TV drama, Listen to Love. After that, she went on a seven-year hiatus, making her return to TV in Marry My Husband.
