Warning: This article contains SPOILERS for Loki Season 2 Episode 5, so read at your own risk!

We learned in the first season of Loki that the TVA employees had their own previous lives on Earth before they were presumably kidnapped by He Who Remains and erased their past memories in order to focus on their duties for the organization.

So far, we have some hints on what their lives were in the past whether it's Mobius' fascination with jetskis (which has become a recurring bit) or learning about Ravonna Renslayer's previous life as a high school teacher in Ohio.

Now, the recently-aired fifth episode of the series has finally given us a glimpse of the previous lives of the rest of the TVA characters.

The fifth episode of Loki started with the aftermath of the explosion of the temporal loom where Loki woke up and realized that everyone in the TVA had disappeared. He also started to time-slip again to his annoyance.

As the TVA was disintegrating, Loki also began to time-slip to different eras around the branched timelines where he encountered the lives of his friends at TVA on Earth.

First, they showed Casey and his fellow prisoners trying to break out of Alcatraz in 1962 San Francisco. When Loki showed up, Casey did not recognize him and revealed that his actual name was Frank.

Hunter B-15 was revealed to be a doctor in 2012 New York. She was seen in a hospital tending to a girl who was injured from falling off a tree.

As for Mobius (aka Don), he was seen in 2022 Cleveland, Ohio and, as fans have expected, he turned out to be a jetski salesman. It answered why the character has been longing to ride a jet ski when he was in the TVA. We also learned that he is a widower with two sons.

Lastly, OB (aka A.D. Doug) was seen in 1994 Pasadena, California where he had a life as a struggling science-fiction author and taught theoretical physics at Caltech. He also had his own laboratory that had a similar design to his office at TVA.

However, unlike the others who were confused by Loki's claims over their lives in the TVA, OB immediately welcomed Loki and understood his struggles with his time-slipping. We also saw that he had prototypes of some of the devices that we've seen in the TVA.

OB suggested having the group back together and tracking their temporal auras in order to return to the TVA. He also built a TemPad from scratch after Loki gave him the TVA manual.

In the end, Loki is able to figure out his time-slipping issue all because of his recruitment of his friends and realizes his devastation when they start disintegrating.

Despite what happened at the end of the fourth episode, it was great to see the TVA characters again and learn about their lives on Earth, adding some depth and knowledge about them after following their journey since the beginning of the series.

New episodes of the second season of Loki premiere every Thursday night on Disney+.
