Despite his recent controversies, Jonathan Majors is still expected to have a significant appearance during the second season of Loki as also teased by the post-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
While it is still unknown how exactly he will play in the new season, we do know that he will play one of the Kang variants named Victor Timely, a character who seems to exist during the late 19th century.
Now, as we're a few months away from its highly-anticipated release, we finally have some major details about the character's role in the second season.
How Victor Timely Will Factor Into the Second Season of Loki
A recent report from The Cosmic Circus laid out some of the alleged details about the second season of Loki, particularly regarding Victor Timely's appearance in the series.
They claimed that part of the show's sophomore season will be set during the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago where Loki and Mobius will have a face-to-face with the Kang variant.
They also reported that during their visit, there will be a "sizeable" action sequence that will involve Loki, Mobius, Victor Timely, and Miss Minutes.
As shown by the post-credits scene of Quantumania earlier this year, Victor Timely is present at the event to showcase his so-called "Victor Timely and his Astounding Emporium Marvels" although it is still unknown how it will exactly factor into the entire multiverse dilemma.
While Marvel Studios has not confirmed any of these details (although it is likely that they'll not since this is in the spoiler territory), this is nevertheless interesting information about what we may expect on the show's return this fall.
This scoop supports the rumors that we've been hearing surrounding the potential story of the second season of Loki which is the exploration of the various Kang variants and Loki and Mobius' visit to multiple timelines and universes.
In the MCU's ongoing Multiverse Saga, there is no doubt at this point that the upcoming season will be very pivotal to the storyline and it is interesting to see how it will all unfold moving forward as well as whether the recent issues surrounding Majors could also affect it.
