The premiere of Young Justice Season 3 is almost here and we finally have a new teaser that reveals what we can look forward to next year. Not surprisingly, everybody's favorite Czarnian will be back.
The teaser for Young Justice: Outsiders is certainly brief but it packs a lot of footage. One of the highlights is undoubtedly Connor Kent punching Lobo. In addition to that, the new heroes are quickly introduced. There's a brief glimpse at Arrowette, Spoiler, Katana, Geo-Force, Halo, Forager, and Cassandra Cain. There is little doubt that the third season will be an interesting one.
Outsiders is set to follow the Team as they fight against metahuman trafficking. It's a battle that has been made necessary after the Reach revealed the existence of the metagene. The Team might need to work with the Outsiders after the events in the second season.
It certainly took a long time for Season 3 to happen. Nevertheless, casting director Jamie Thomason had no doubts that a third season will eventually be completed. "In truth, I genuinely didn't have a doubt that it would be back," Thomason said. "It's just too good a show not to have a couple more seasons to help finishing up with some stories."
So what can we look forward to in Outsiders? Series co-creator Greg Weisman says, "It's a little darker. Definitely delves deep into our characters and it also allows us to delve deeper into the DC universe."
Young Justice: Outsiders will premiere on DC Universe on January 4, 2019.
