LEGO Movie 2 Adds Jason Momoa As Aquaman In Hilarious New Promo

It looks like we won't have to wait too long to see Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry once again. Aquaman has just been confirmed to join the cast of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.

The announcement was made through an awesome promo for LEGO Movie 2 on Instagram. The short clip features the LEGO version of the DC Extended Universe character riding a brick-based wave. At one point, he even uses the other version of Aquaman as a surfboard. Check it out below.

Momoa isn't the only DCEU star who will appear in LEGO Movie 2. It was previously confirmed that Margot Robbie will reprise her role as Harley Quinn and provide the voice of the Suicide Squad character in the sequel.

The synopsis for LEGO Movie 2 reads as follows:

"It's been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are now facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than it can be rebuilt.
"The battle to defeat the invaders and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman, and their friends to faraway, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and reveal just how special they really are."

The film will also star Marvel actor Chris Pratt, who will provide the voice of Rex Dangervest. Interestingly, Pratt's character sounds like a combination of all of his famous roles rolled into one.

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part will premiere on February 8, 2019.
