In contrast to her role in Squid Game, Yoo-mi played a rich and arrogant character called Lee Na-yeon in All of Us Are Dead.

The series follows a group of students who try to survive when their classmates get turned into zombies.

Na-yeon was one of the hated characters in the show since she caused one of the students to turn into a zombie.

So when it was her time to be eaten, many were actually pleased at how she met her fate.

In the same year that Squid Game came out, Yoo-mi's starred in a thriller film called Hostage: Missing Celebrity.

Yoo-mi starred as Ban So-yeon, a shop assistant who was among those kidnapped by a famous movie star played by Hwang Jung-min.

According to reports, almost 1,000 actors auditioned for her role. With Yoo-mi earning the 2021 Korean Film Writers Association Awards' Best New Actress award for this role, choosing her for the role made a lot of sense.

Young Adult Matters

Also in 2021, Yoo-mi starred in the drama film, Young Adult Matters. She played the role of Yoon Se-jin, a pregnant teenager who ran away from home to get an abortion.

She falls in love with Joo Young (Hani), who helps her look for ways to go through with her abortion.

Yoo-mi also won the Best New Actress award for this role at the 2022 BaekSang Arts Awards.

365: Repeat the Year

365: Repeat the Year is unlike any other Kdramas. Yoo-mi is among the 10 individuals who get to go back in time to change an event in their lives.

Yoo-mi starred as Kim Se-rin, a university student with Munchausen syndrome. She goes back in time to reconnect with her boyfriend.

Superpower Girl

Just Dance

The show is a highly-rated drama that follows the members of the 112 emergency call center team. They investigate real-time crimes that were based on the calls of the victims.
