KonoSuba fans are in for another treat as the KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Love for These Clothes of Desire! game is getting a Western release soon.
Initially released in Japan back in 2020, this visual novel-style game features a major focus on unique outfits for the game’s main cast. It is also only the second game to get a Western release.
For reference, there have been seven video game releases in the franchise in Japan.
Another KonoSuba Game Is Coming to the West
KonoSuba is a popular series that’s beloved by many for its incredibly funny take on the isekai genre.
After all, while other isekai anime are pure wish-fulfillment fantasies, no sane viewer would want to switch places with Kazuma.
Thanks to its popularity, the series has received a number of video game adaptations over the past years, though only one has so far gotten released in the West.
That game is KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, which was published by Nexon in the rest of the world.
As with most anime games, this is a mobile RPG with gacha elements.
Fans in Japan are lucky though as there are six other games that are only available there. These include In the Life!, which is a roleplaying game made with RPG Maker XV Ace.
There’s also Revival of Beldia, which is a sidescroller that’s reminiscent of games like Mega Man. Other titles include a visual novel and two dungeon crawlers.
Finally, we have Love for These Clothes of Desire!, which is unique as its highlights are the various new outfits for Aqua, Megumin, and others.

KonoSuba: Love for These Clothes of Desire! Announces Western Release
As the name implies, this new KonoSuba visual novel will focus on clothes.
Specifically, Kazuma and company discover a “Black Slab” that allows users to create magical outfits, but the user gets cursed in the process.
These magical outfits will also give the user intense desires, and the curse can only be lifted by fulfilling these desires.
On the game’s Steam page, some of the outfits were detailed, including a prim and proper goddess outfit for Aqua, as well as a ruthless dominatrix outfit for Darkness.
Given these clothing descriptions, it’s pretty easy to imagine the hilarious scenarios that Kazuma and company will find themselves in, making this a must-play for big KonoSuba fans.
Right now, there’s no word yet on a release date for KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! Love for These Clothes of Desire!, though it is confirmed to release on PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
