The Bequeathed is a new thriller K-drama that follows a woman who inherits a gravesite from her uncle. What follows next is a series of mysterious murders and the emergence of an estranged half-brother, Kim Yeong-ho in The Bequeathed.

What Happens in The Bequeathed K-drama?
The Bequeathed K-drama is not for those who scare easily. The show has an eerie feel to it, which is probably brought about with its touches in the occult.
Yun Seo-ha suddenly inherits a family gravesite from a long-lost uncle, one whom they've already forgotten about. This also stirs up Seo-ha's painful childhood memories of her father, who left her and her mother.
At the funeral, Seo-ha's half-brother, Kim Yeong-ho (played by Ryu Kyung-soo), suddenly appears and causes a disturbance. He claims that he also has a right to this inheritance.
Kim Yeong-ho’s The Bequeathed Character Explained
Let's talk about The Bequeathed's Kim Yeong-ho character.
Played by Ryu Kyung-soo, Yeong-ho is described to be a religious fanatic. While he is really a kind person, he receives fake divine messages from his mother telling him to commit murder.
He refuses to follow this and, instead, protect his sister from bad luck. But because of his religious affiliation, he is unable to communicate with Seo-ha properly.
This is why he demands to give him the gravesite she inherited in lieu of the coming danger. But as soon as people around Seo-ha start getting murdered, Yeong-ho becomes Seo-ha's suspect.

How are Yeong-ho and Seo-ha Related?
We already know that they are half-siblings and that they share the same father. But as the story goes, their father had an incestuous affair with his sister.
Since he was already married, the two decided to elope. They gave birth to Yeong-ho, who does not have the Yoon last name.
Seo-ha's uncle planed to transfer the property to Yeong-ho originally. But because he had been poisoned by the village head, the uncle wasn't able to proceed with the transfer.
This led to Seo-ha becoming the primary heir of the land. But as it turns out, there is someone else who's a potential heir to the property.
Will Seo-ha be able to trust her half-brother to save her?

Who Plays Kim Yeong-ho in The Bequeathed?
The role of Kim Yeong-ho is played by Ryu Kyung-soo. He is a talented South Korean actor who earned recognition for his roles in Confession and Itaewon Class. He was also a cult priest in Hellbound.
