Kim Hee Sun will be the lead actress in the upcoming Kdrama series, Gaslighting.
Filmmaker Kim Seung Woo is gearing up to release his first-ever TV directorial debut in Gaslighting. The team recently chose Kim Hee Seun to take on the lead role.

Kim Hee Sun To Star in Gaslighting
On Thursday, the Gaslighting production team confirmed (via The Korea Times) its first cast members, with Kim Hee Sun as the lead actress.
She will appear alongside Kim Nam Hee and Lee Hye Young in Kim Seung Woo's series.
The actress' agency, Hinge Entertainment, clarified that she is still in talks to play the role.
"Kim Hee Sun has received an offer for the new drama 'Gaslighting' (literal title) and is positively reviewing it," the label said.
Gaslighting, the direct translation title of the series, will start filming to meet its target premiere date in the latter half of 2023. The series will explore the life of Kim Hee Sun's character, Noh Young Won. She is a successful therapist who has a life people feel envious of.

However, she gets involved in an incident that leads her life to fall apart. She soon discovers secrets she is once unaware of
To survive the event, she meets her mother-in-law and mystery novel author Hong Sa Gang (played by Lee Hye Young). On the other hand, Reborn Rich star Kim Nam Hee plays the role of Noh Young Won's husband.
Meanwhile, Kang Hae Rim will also appear in the drama as a mysterious girl named Se Na.
Filmmaker Kim Seung Woo will work alongside So I Married an Anti-Fan scriptwriter Nam Ji Yeon.
Kim Hee Sun's Career
Kim Hee Sun started her career in 1992. At that time, she notably won the Fair Face Beauty Contest, which helped her begin her modeling career.
After her commercial projects, she made her acting debut in Dinosaur Teacher. Her immediate popularity caused her to land leading roles in famous TV series and movies, including Tomorrow, The Lady in Dignity, Wedding Dress, Forever Yours, Mister Q, and Men of the Bath House.
