Kill La Kill The Game: IF Gets Anime Expo Gameplay Trailer

When a Kill La Kill game published by Arc System Works was announced for the first time, fans went crazy with joy. The anime was one of the most action-packed series ever seen and a new game based on it has many excited, even if Arc System won't develop it like they did Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Now we have a gameplay video from Anime Expo 2018 that shows what the title will play like and it looks like it will be a 3D arena brawler that sometimes looks like a 2D fighting game. Visually, the game looks great and captures the manic style that made the anime such a big hit.

This Kill La Kill game, now called Kill La Kill The Game: IF implying a What If story, still doesn't have a proper release date. Currently, the game is scheduled for a 2019 release and will come out on PS4 and PC. No Xbox One version was announced oddly enough, though that could always change.

Some fans might be disappointed since Arc Sys is known for stylish 2D fighting games. Then again, they're only publishing the game so it's easy to see why it's radically different from Dragon Ball FighterZ.
