Marvel Phase 5 has yet to open with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania this year, and yet Kevin Feige has already confirmed that Marvel Studios is three steps ahead when it comes to their creation of the marvel cinematic universe. As it turned out, Marvel Studios already has plans for Marvel Phases 5, 6, but also for Phase 7.
It was at the San Diego Comic-Con 2022 when Feige shared the good news among the dozen projects they prepared for the Multiverse Saga. During the virtual press conference for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (via The Direct), Feige highlights: “[We] work in about three phases at a time… Three phases together, as we all know, make a saga.”

Now, this might be the only statement we have to hold on regarding Feige’s word for now, and while there are no news or official announcements yet on which MCU films are included in the list.
However, this explains how much work is being put into creating the Marvel films’ cinematic universe come into a full circle, especially given that everything is planned ahead of time, ahead of the release, which most likely led Marvel Studios to become more strict when it comes to preventing further massive spoilers leak to MCU fans.
Kevin Feige remains quite optimistic in securing the future of the MCU, seeing as despite the moviegoers’ growing “superhero fatigue”, the Marvel boss is positive that theaters are never getting phased out.
In his exact words: “Over 22 years, and most of us here at Marvel Studios have been around a decade or longer together, people were asking, ‘Well, how long is this going to last?’ ‘Is this fad of comic book movies going to end?’ And I didn’t really understand the question.”
For now, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits theaters on February 17, 2023.
