Katee Sackhoff Drops Speculation on Recreating Controversial Clone Wars Scene with Ahsoka

Having voiced Bo-Katan Kryze in animated series Clone Wars and Rebels, Katee Sackhoff addresses whether she’ll be recreating one particular scene from her first meeting with Ahsoka Tano.

The controversial scene happened in Clone Wars where Bo slaps Ahsoka on the butt after prematurely judging the character for being ‘too skinny.'

That said, with the VAs from the original series returning to their roles in live-action Star Wars series, Sackhoff puts down the idea of putting the naughty butt slap scene in live-action.

“You know, it’s funny. It’s one of those things that… you can’t always portray characters that are morally perfect. They live in this gray world.” Sackhoff said in a recent interview on the Steve Varley show.

She added: “Would I slap another woman on the butt? Probably not.”

However, the Bo-Katan actress did seemingly confirm she won’t be pulling this off the table on one condition:

“But maybe I would if she was a really good friend, I might. I don’t know. It depends. I don’t know. I’m sure it will be referenced.”

Sackhoff shared: “I’m sure people want to reference [Clone Wars]. It’d be kind of cheeky if it was. But at the same time, I think they’ve both grown as people. At least Bo has.”

Sackhoff has yet to confirm on reprising her Bo-Katan on the next series, Ahsoka, but it’s clear that the two close friends are more or less meeting again in the series one way or another.

As for the recreation of the butt sequence, Sackhoff is right: people would especially like that particular scene to be recreated or referenced, at least.

Considering that the actress herself previously admitted about her awareness on the fandom’s thirsting over Bo:

“I don’t know. 70% are super, super excited about [Bo-Katan], you got 10% like ‘I hated the whole thing,’ you got 5% ‘You just hate Bo,’ and then you got 2% that want me to sit on their face.” Sackhoff said.

Ahsoka arrives this August, while all episodes of The Mandalorian Season 3 are available to stream on Disney+.
