After its eighth episode was delayed last month, KamiKatsu announced that Episode 11 will be delayed by one week due to production-related issues.
The announcement was made via the show’s official Twitter account. There, it was mentioned that the delay was due to “various circumstances,” though no specific reason was given regarding the delay.
It was also revealed that instead of the 11th episode, the anime’s previous episode will be rebroadcast on the show’s timeslot.
Several Spring 23 Anime Delayed, Though Not as Bad as Winter 23
While the Spring 23 season started with no issues, a bit over halfway through the season, several shows got delayed due to various production difficulties and/or issues.
One of these is Gundam: Witch from Mercury, which delayed its 18th episode by one week.
This was followed by delays to other shows like Oshi no Ko (which got a recap episode instead), as well as Mashle.
Another anime that got delayed is KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World, the isekai anime that got attention earlier this season for its questionable animation.
Thankfully, these delays weren’t bad enough to delay entire shows. After all, that was the case with Winter 23 which saw lots of shows get delayed to the following season.
For instance, Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible was moved to April after airing its first six episodes in Winter.
Another show that was heavily affected is The Misfit of Demon King Academy II which will restart this July.
These weren’t the worst cases though, as shows like NieR: Automata Ver1.1a and Ayakashi Triangle are still on an extended hiatus, with no return date in sight.

KamiKatsu Episode 11 Delayed By One Week
After Episode 8 got delayed, it seems that KamiKatsu continues to encounter some difficulties with production as the show has once again been delayed.
Specifically, it was revealed that Episode 11 will be released one week late.
With this, fans will at least only need to wait a week before the new episode’s release.
Instead of airing a recap though, the show’s broadcast slot in Japan will see a re-airing of Episode 10.
KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World Episode 11 will be released on June 28, 2023.
Following the show’s Japanese TV broadcast, the episode will then be available to stream on Crunchyroll for fans in the US and other regions.
