As the anime continues its run, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury announced six new members of its voice cast, and among them is a popular voice actor from Jujutsu Kaisen.
The new members of the voice cast were revealed in Episode 4 of the anime (as shared by Anime News Network), and their characters are all members of Earth House.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Voice Cast
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury is a new anime series by Sunrise that’s directed by Hiroshi Kobayashi, the director of Kiznaiver. He is joined by series composer Ichiro Okouchi, the co-creator of Code Geass.
This new anime is significant for a couple of reasons, one of which is that it’s the first TV anime in the Gundam franchise in years following the release of Iron-Blooded Orphans back in 2015.
What also makes it special is the fact that it is the first anime in the franchise to feature a female protagonist in Suletta Mercury.
The new voice actors join the already star-studded cast that includes:
- Kana Ichinose as Suletta Mercury
- Lynn as Miorine Rembran
- Yohei Azakami as Guel Jeturk
- Natsuki Hanae as Elan Ceres
- Makoto Furukawa as Shaddiq Zenelli
- Yume Miyamoto as Nika Nanaura
- Miyu Tomita as Chuatury Panlunch
As a new Gundam anime, the show introduces new mobile suits, including Gundam Aerial which already has several model kits available for pre-order.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury New Cast Members
The new members of the voice cast are headlined by Junya Enoki who voices Martin Upmont.
Enoki should be a familiar name to anime fans as he is the voice of Yuji Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen.
Aside from Yuji, Enoki has also voiced lots of popular characters in other titles, including Senjuro Rengoku in Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, Naoya Mukai in Girlfriend, Girlfriend, and Al Wayne in I've Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills.
Enoki is joined by other voice actors, including:
- Tasuku Hatanaka as Nuno Kargan
- KENN as Ojelo Gabel
- Kōhei Amasaki as Till Nys
- Konomi Inagaki as Lilique Kadoka Lipati
- Miyuri Shimabukuro as Aliya Mahvash
New episodes of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury are released every weekend, with streaming platform availability depending on the region.
