Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade Game Is Getting a PC Release This Year

The Jujutsu Kaisen mobile game was finally released in Japan in November 2023 after many delays. Soon, even those who don’t prefer to play on their phone will be able to play it. That’s because Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade is confirmed to get a PC release this year.

Phantom Parade’s PC release was announced earlier today, and with it came the opening of pre-registrations for this version.

All You Need to Know about Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade

It’s fair to say that Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most popular shonen anime and manga right now. Thus, it’s no surprise that it has already gotten two big game adaptations.

Back in February came the release of Cursed Clash, an arena fighting game for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC. Before this though, Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade was launched in Japan.

Phantom Parade is a mobile action RPG that features popular Jujutsu Kaisen characters that fans can play as, including Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and many more.

As the first proper video game in the franchise, Phantom Parade got a special opening animation from MAPPA, as well as a theme song performed by Eve, the same singer of Jujutsu Kaisen season 1’s first opening theme.

What’s more, the game features a new story that features original characters hailing from the Fukuoka Jujutsu High branch.

Meet the New Voice Cast Members of Phantom Parade

The returning characters from the anime are all voiced by their original voice actors. As for the original characters, they are voiced by the following VAs:

• Rina Sato (Sae Chabashira in Classroom of the Elite) as Saki Rindo
• Kotaro Nishiyama (Kazuhito Narita in Haikyuu) as Kaito Yuki
• Rikiya Koyama (Yukichi Fukuzawa in Bungou Stray Dogs) as Kensuke Nagino

Of these two characters, Saki Rindo and Kaito Yuki are first-year students at the Fukuoka branch. Meanwhile, Kensuke Nagino is the branch’s president.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade Gets PC Release Date Window

After the game was released on iOS and Android in Japan, Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade is finally set to be released on PC.

This is not an unprecedented development given that many anime mobile games also get released on PCs some time after its initial release.

While the game is set to release on PC in 2024, there’s no word yet on a specific release date. There’s also no word on whether the game will ever be released outside of Japan.
