Office work is stressful for everyone, but it is especially difficult for those who work in a fast-paced industry. Regardless, the daily routine of eight hours of labor time from the scheduled early morning to the overtime grind contributes to worker burnout. He is no exception to this work culture, as Jujutsu Kaisen's Nanami Kento shares his realistic struggles as a salaryman in this article.

Nanami Kento is a first-grade Jujutsu sorcerer who oversaw Yuji Itadori's field training under the supervision of the all-powerful Gojo Satoru. According to Nanami Kento's portrayal in the anime, he appears to be a stockbroker for an investment firm. As a result, he caters to individuals who invest their money in their company in the hope of reaping a higher return on their investment.

He believes that people who trust him with their money also trust him with their lives. Nanami, on the other hand, dupes people by encouraging them to buy stocks with no growth potential. In a nutshell, he swindles money from people in order to grow the company. Despite the nature of his job and his terrible boss, Nanami always follows the company's rules and regulations because it's written in his job description.

When Yuji Itadori asked why he did not become a Jujutsu Sorcerer after graduating, Nanami replied, "Jujutsu Sorcerers are Shit!" He initially believed that fighting curses was not for him and would not benefit him in any way. However, Yuji inquired about Nanami's previous job, to which the latter replied, "Work is Shit!" much to Yuji's surprise.

Despite his proud stature, Nanami Kento is just like any other salaryman. Essentially, he wants a higher-paying job regardless of whether it violates moral obligations. Nanami is widely regarded as a man of integrity, so working for a company that defrauds people would go against his beliefs. In reality, workers frequently accept jobs like these out of necessity.

Prior to his return to Jujutsu Tech, money was all that mattered to Nanami. He doesn't care about curses or Jujutsu Sorcerers as long as he has enough money to live a comfortable life. In fact, Nanami believes that he is the type of man who has no idea why he is alive or what he should be doing. At this point, the only thing going for him is money. After all, money is what makes the world go round for some people.

Nanami, on the other hand, resigned from his job after realizing his true purpose in life while buying his favorite casse croute from the city's bakery. Nanami's burned-out eyes are now protected by his trendy and iconic Jujutsu Sorcerer sunglasses, thanks to the bakery attendant. Despite the lower pay, Nanami Kento is content to be a grade one Jujutsu Sorcerer for the time being.
