To mark the release of the manga’s latest volume, Jujutsu Kaisen shared a new live-action manga promo video that shows fans what the Culling Game would look like if it happened in real life.

This new video was teased last week, and it was finally released on the JUMP COMICS CHANNEL.

Instead of featuring live-action versions of the cast though, the video is a more creative take on the Culling Game Arc.

Earlier this week, Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 23 was released, and on the cover is Yuki Tsukumo, one of the four Special Grade jujutsu sorcerers.

While Yuki has been shown earlier in the manga, the chapters collected in Volume 23 finally show Yuki’s full power as she faces off against Kenjaku in the Stars and Oil chapters.

Though the cover was revealed previously, a new video was shared to further promote the new volume.

This is similar to the Shibuya takeover video which was released to hype up Volume 21.

The latest manga promo video might just be the best one yet though, as fans were delighted to see the impressive real-life take on the Culling Game.

Even though it has no English subtitles, any Jujutsu Kaisen manga fan can easily follow what’s shown in the video.

For starters, the video shows what the Culling Game’s colony barriers would look like in real-life Japan.

What’s more, the video also features scenes that recreate some of the Culling Game’s biggest fights.

Though the characters aren’t shown in the video, what can be seen are the powers of the jujutsu sorcerers in the Culling Game.

To start, there’s the impressive depiction of Noritoshi Kamo’s Piercing Blood against Naoya Zenin’s Cursed Womb in the Sakurajima Colony.

Then, there’s the stunning sequence in Tokyo’s port area which highlights the fight between Hajime Kashimo and Kinji Hakari.

While they aren’t shown, the train ticket gates are clearly from Kinji’s ability.

Also shown was a glimpse of the fight at the Sendai Colony featuring Yuta Okkotsu, Takako Uro, and Ryu Ishigori.

Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 23 is out now in Japan, though its English release is likely over a year away.

Fans can at least look forward to Season 2 of the anime which premieres today.
